How much? (Pricing announcement)
Setter person: First of all, can you hold the conversation more than 10 to 20 minutes only in Japanese?
If not, you can start from our Master Course Level 1
First of all, as a beginner, you can start with the Japan Language Factory (JLF) Master Course Level One. This level offers 100 hours of training focused on enhancing your speaking and listening skills.
For instance, during the master course, you will develop four key skills. The first skill is how to express yourself. You can talk about your feelings, personality, activities you did over the weekend, your preferences, or your plans, such as “what you are doing for the Christmas holidays” (related to students lifestyle)
The second skill is questioning skills. For example, you will learn how to ask your neighbors or restaurant staff questions like, “How was your weekend?” or “I prefer spicy food, what do you recommend?” This will help you engage in more meaningful conversations.
The third skill is improving your listening abilities. When people start talking to you, you will be able to understand their conversation, enhancing your listening skills.
The fourth skill is providing feedback or answering questions. For example, you’ll learn how to express your feelings or opinions after a conversation, like saying, “That was amazing,” or “It was nice meeting you, we’re going to come back again,” to your favorite restaurant owners.
These four skills are the focus during the master course.
Included in these 100 hours of training are 30 hours of one-on-one coaching sessions. You will have a private teacher, which is beneficial because you can focus on your daily needs without being distracted by others’ levels or topics that don’t interest you. Whether it’s everyday conversation, job interviews, or any other topic you choose, your personal trainer will cater to your preferences.
The personal training sessions total 30 hours, and you can schedule them anytime you want, 24/7. We cover time zones in the US, UK, and Japan, so lessons can be booked for any time that suits you, from Monday through Sunday, even at 6 AM or midnight.
Regarding the pace of the course, it’s very flexible. You can start with as little as one hour per week and finish in about six months, or increase the hours per week to complete the course in as little as two months. There’s no extra fee if you take longer to complete the course; it’s entirely up to you.
Additionally, there are 36 hours of group conversation training. This training is different from personal training, as you’ll learn how to participate in group meetings or presentations, either as a presenter or a listener. If you’re unable to join a session, you can watch a recorded video. We accommodate various time zones, from yours to Japan’s.
The final component is homework, which only requires 10 to 20 minutes per day.
Do you have 10 to 20 minutes per day at least?
Learning Japanese can be challenging, but with our training, it’s manageable. Our self-training home kit includes a textbook and audio files. For instance, you can practice phrases like, “Can I order some food in Japanese?” and improve your listening and pronunciation skills with just 10 to 20 minutes of daily practice.
In summary, the complete 100-hour training for Master Course Level One costs $4,400. If you opt for upfront payment, you can get a discount.
